No guitar signal through TH2

Hi I just got Music creator 6, and I found TH2 but when I open it there's no audio from my guitar(usb to 1/4). It says in preferences, under recording devices"Microphone usb rocksmith ". I'm not sure if this has already been brought up before but thanks.

    Welcome to the forum.
    What driver mode are you using? You will probably have to use the MME mode with the USB guitar cord, and that's not the best mode for recording and monitoring in real time.

    Most of those cord adapters will work using the MME drivers as Greg said..... but that is not the best way to do things.
     
    The better, but slightly more costly route, is to use a dedicated external audio/midi interface with native ASIO drivers. That generally solves all the issues related to getting signals in and sound out in a timely and professional manner.
     
    Everyone here who has been here for any time is using an interface. It simplifies the process.
