No meters option in the Track View - Already implemented - User mistake

We have an option for a vertical meter and a horizontal meter in the track view.  I was surprise to see no option to remove the meter all together.  As I've mentioned before, I work in a three monitor environment and the display of meters on all three monitors is redundant.
 
As I was setting up my master template I tried removing the check from the Vertical Meter option thinking that nothing selected would get me a meterless track.  Not so.

    Mod - 
    In the same drop-down menu where you select vertical/horizonal meters, there is an option to show/hide "Track Record Meters" or "Track Playback Meters".
    Doesn't un-checking both these options give you what you're looking for?
