No midi sounds
Okay, this is probably an easy one for you experts, but I haven't used Cakewalk in years! And when I did use it, my keyboard player set it all up! Okay, I am a drummer....no jokes
I have CWHS 2004 and I just purchased a M-Audio Audiophile 2496. All I need to do is trigger sounds on my Octapad II. I have everything hooked up okay...I think...right now I am just testing to see if any midi will play at all on CW. I have played some .cwp with wav files and I hear sound but no midi tracks are playing. I tried to look at the input to set it for the 2496 but there is no option for it. What am I missing? I see a DXi icon in CW that I have read a bit about but I have no idea how to configure.
Thanks!

You may get faster results posting this question in the SONAR Home Studio forum. Many more users of Home Studio 2004 over there. This forum is for an older product called "Pro Audio."
