No more helium after 2020 (correction 2050).

Apparently helium is not a renewable resource.

How will I talk funny when I introduce our songs on the third reunion farewell tour of The CHB (in 2021)?

Wait a minute.  Helium was an integral part of my weight loss plan.  It was a choice between that or anti-gravity.

    Alright.  Back to the lab!

I heard Monster Cable has purchased all of it to use in their new ultra-HDMI cables to get 20-40% more.

Helium® will be patented and no one else is going to be able to use it.

Thankfully, this will prevent Georgia Pacific from labeleing their next generation plywood products "Helium". They will have to play out the Titanium™ brand a little longer than anticipated. It took me so long to get used to seeing plywood labeled Titanium... I wasn't looking forward to seeing Helium stenciled all over my wallboard.

So we're looking for the word Titanium in that squiggy in your sig?

    I don't see it.

I think you are supposed to point your mobile phone camera at it and click you heels two times... or something.

Personally I just sort of look at it and let a feeling of serene relaxation spread through my body.

Don't be ridiculous. The sun fuses 620 million metric tons of hydrogen per second. Aside from some minimal loss of matter into energy, and some oddball elements, most of that goes to create new helium. Mining the helium from that source economically is, however, somewhat problematic.

The price of helium is clearly not sufficient to keep it from being depleted quite soon, however. Another failure of the "free market" to control the frivolous destruction of resources.

I heard about this guy who succeeded in creating an anti-gravity device.  Unfortunately, after his first test, no one has seen him since...

    +1

All that will happen is that Helium will go up after a period of inflation.

Funny … as soon as the status of helium as a non-renewable resource enters the public consciousness, the fashion industry figures out how to make clothing out of it.

Soon an audio engineer will design a studio monitor that uses a plasma generated from helium as a tweeter. I guess eventually, we will be limited to lowering the frequency of our voices with sulfur hexafluoride.

Good news!  There's hope for helium production!

(Sadly, the article goes on and on about advancements of science and safe renewable energy production while completely glosses over helium production.)
