No more slipping

No more slipping.

I've been waiting for something like this for a long time.

They've only been out for about 3 weeks and I just ordered one to check it out. If it's everything I have been hoping for I'll probably order a handful of them.

If you could follow up with a review, Mike, it would be nice.  Droopy mic stands are a pain in the...  studio.
I bet they're expensive, I couldn't find a UK price.

I'll let you know what I find out.

I am having a slipping issue with one of my heavier mics and the Koenig Meyer 210 boom stands I have used for years. I have been using a pliers to tighten it and it just will not hold, so I am hoping that this new stand doesn't just hold that particular mic but also makes it look easy. :-)

Yes do let us know how well it works.  Looks substantial enough.  It better be at 300$.

My review:

I am very pleased and anticipate that this will be a pleasure to use even with my heaviest mics and mic arrays.

The two things I find remarkable are that the structure is very heavy, yet well balanced and the clamping mechanisms that are supposed to clamp securely actually clamp securely.
