No sound input on an imported project

Id really appreciate it if anyone could help me out. Ive been working on a song and I bought a new laptop recently so I wanted to move my project file along with all the audio files necessary to the new laptop for its better processor etc. I did so with no trouble by putting everything in the cakewalk projects folder. Everything was working fine but now suddenly I get no sound output whatsoever. I get output on all the projects ive started on the new laptop but the imported one has just stopped working. I dont get why. Ive tried resetting drivers etc and it just doesnt seem to work.

I dont know if this has any relevance but during playback if i try to move to a different part of the timeline the green arrow moves but the line showing where the playback is at that current time doesnt move
