No sound output when usin Mic

Hi

First time I have tried to use my mic (RodeNT1-A)  through the VS 100 attached to active monitors.

When I plug in my guitar to the input input 1 I get sound but when I pug in the mic only using xlr I get nothing?

Any help please would be appreciated.

Check the phantom power switch on the back.  It should be on for condenser mics.
If that's on and the sensitivity is up far enough, it should work.

         Good luck,

I assume you are using the VS100 in standalone mode - not connected to a computer.

Also I assume you are not connecting EITHER guitar or mic into input 1L (not both at same time).

To get mic working you may need to up the levels
--  try increasing the SENS setting (this is pre-amp level)
    -- Input 1 level
    -- Main Mix level

You should be able to amplify the mix - assuming Mic is working correctly.

to clarify previous post - I assume you are connecting EITHER Mic or Guitar to Input 1  but not BOTH
