Nomad Factory Blue Tubes Help/Manual?

Hi there,
I've searched for manuals or a help section about these plugins but I couldn't find anything in the offline or online help!

I might have missed something, Can you please tell me how can I find the manuals/help for them?
I have Sonar X3 Studio btw.

Thanks in advance,

Confirmed. I cannot see any help file, nor can I see any documentation on Nomad's site.
If nobody else comes up trumps I suggest logging an issue with Cakewalk support.
Cheers...

Thanks :-)
After extracting the zip file, I found the manual for all their products, not a detailed one, but it is useful.

All the Blue tube stuff is just like any other audio effects. If you can use a compressor, you can use every compressor made. Example: The attack knob is the same for all compressors. The relaease is the same for all compressors. The Same goes for reverbs. Pre-delay is the same pre-delay for all reverbs.  If you can use one certain FX, you can use them all.

That is correct Cjay, however sometimes in these docs one can find little nuggets of info, that may mean nothing to anyone else but the reader. Maybe even just the way it is written gives the reader a better insight into using the effect.

Thanks a lot :-) that was a very nice summary which together with the Manual are more than enough to give some idea about the nature of the plugins.

Yes you are right but I'm still learning about the differences between the compressors or EQs I have (especially the vintage ones). The manual or/and additional resources can help put me in the right direction to experiment :-)

Yes you are right but I'm still learning about the differences between the compressors or EQs I have (especially the vintage ones).

Just insert all the Compressors and EQ's on a track and enable one at a time. Then you "can maybe" hear the difference between the different EQ's. But an EQ is still an EQ and a compressor is still a comp.

Examples OF EQ's

If you learn about the 3 types of EQ's, you can use every single EQ.
1. Semi-Parametric EQ, also called sweepable EQ:
2. Parametric EQ:
3. Graphic EQ:

Different Kionds of filters for EQ's. If you learnthese, you can use any EQ
1. Highpass
2. Lowpass
3. Bandpass
4. Notch
5. Peaking
5. Shelving

Also learn about linear phase and non linear phase EQ

There you go: now all you need to do is use your Googgly machine to look up each one then you can use any EQ ever made. Same goes for compressors.

Thanks CJ and thanks everyone for your answers.
I think I need to buy good studio monitors to hear the difference. I'm using a headphone now and it is not enough.
btw, there are some useful videos in CakeTV about the NF :-)
