Nomad Factory install brings woes....

This is not the first time I've had some trouble regarding NF installs.  I recently purchased their Pulse Tec EQ and downloaded, installed and authorized without any problem.  But this morning (and just by chance) I noticed my Magnetic was now running in demo mode.  So I started popping up other of my NF stuff.  Natch...most all of it was now running in demo mode.  So...even tho my Pulse Tec went in fine it apparently screwed most everything else up.  Also, NF now has a (very good) authorization scheme but not all of my NF plugs were installed using it...some used older schemes.  I sent an email to NF and I'm sure it will all get straightened out shortly.  I expect I'll just have to reinstall everything NF I have.  Yeccchhh.  But thought I'd post a note here to see if any of you could shed light on this or relate your similar experience.

Mesh said a while ago: I emailed NF just 5 min ago, and they already replied stating to uninstall/re-install everything.

I'm sure he'll pop on later to say if this worked or not.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with NF.  I remember back when they had their big sale on Integrated Studio Pack 3 that NF had many issues with installation, but that their support jumped right on it and got it solved.  I hope and expect that you too will get the speedy help you need from them.  Keep us posted.

They did get back with me today and basically said I needed to uninstall and reinstall everything.  But what's not clear is that since their new installer is like waves installer can I/should I install everything all at once and just use one authorization for the lot or will I have to go one by one authorizing each individual plug??  That would be a royal pain.

I'd hang until someone who did it, like Mesh, appears.

    Well...as usual I'm a Rebel, Dottie, a loner.

I didn't uninstall everything...I only reinstalled anything that wasn't working in full mode.  And that seemed to fix it.  So far everything back to running hot straight and normal.  But I'll keep ya posted as per usual.
