None Music question about Web Editor/publisher.
Could any of you suggest a good Web site editing software, preferably cheep or better free as it is not something I do often but my Web site is in need of modernisation. Thanks

Hi Wookiee, It's been a while since I've used a website editor. I suppose it all depends on what you want to do, as Jim is asking. In the past I've only used simple WYSIWYG editors and then I've used something like Flash to embellish. The last free editor I used was First Page, one of the many "open source" software tools. It was okay, as best as I can remember, for my simple needs at least. I'd check out this list on Wikipedia :- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTML_editors cheers andy

+1 on Wordpress. You'll need it installed on your web server. There is a ton of support for working with Wordpress on the web. Another alternative is something like Wix ( http://www.wix.com/) or Squarespace ( http://www.squarespace.com/ ). They both have really easy to use WYSIWYG editors and include hosting. They can both be relatively inexpensive. Just some ideas....

Notepad / MS Word. I never do anything fancy, just hyperlinks and formatting.
