Not hearing the tracks panned left, right or not panned?

Hardwares: SPS-66 FireWire & MA-15D

So what I did was follow the instructions on the MA-15D Monitor Speaker Manual and used the cable they provided. Out from my SPS-66 on the first out on my FireWire to the in of my MA-15D Speakers Left and Right.

When I played my project, the tracks that were panned all the way to the Right, did not sound. THen I tried to use the second out, this time the tracks panned to the left did not sound, but the tracks panned to the right sounded. So what I think is that the first out from my SPS-66 FireWire is left and the 2nd is Right. But the manual showed me to use the cable provided and the cable has only one 1/8 and not two for outs 1&2.

A lot of people are afraid of heights. Not me, I'm afraid of widths.
