Not lock cursor to measure

Sorry if this is answered in another post, but I can't find one with my first few searches.

Currently when I try to put the cursor on a spot between measures, it automatically jumps to the nearest measure.   How do I disable this behavior, so that I can put the cursor on any point in time?

Thanks

You need to adjust your Snap to Grid setting.
This will be an icon at the top of your track view or PRV.
For maximum control and flexibility, I set it to Absolute Time, 0.00 Seconds.
Enable Snap to audio Zero Crossings to avoid pops at the ends of clips.
