Notations

When composing music in staff view, how do you show standard music notations such as accent, slur, soft, loud etc.
Thanks,
Doug

there are very few articulations you can draw. no slurs, ties are done automatically according to the length of the staring note. no fortissimo or any other volume articulations. I think there's a hairpin, but maybe not much else.

MC's notation is not going to give you "professional quality sheet music" like the box says. Out of all the things the box says, i think that one is the biggest "stretch" of the truth. If you want professional looking sheet music, you need Finale or Sibelius. finale sells a very basic program called notepad for $10, or if you need more features, they go up to $400, I think. I have Finale PrintMusic (IIRC) for $90.

You can write in any direction for the misicians by using the 'Expression' button.
