Notebook suitable for "on-the-road" recording

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a new notebook which I want to use for jam sessions as a platform for my Kontakt 4 instruments. I also want to run Sonar X1 on it and record mainly projects containing 3-5 VST Soft synths (SD 2.2, NI Alicias Keys, NI Vintage Keys, GPO4...) and a few (one or two) audio tracks.

What HW configuration or notebook brand would you suggest me? I do not want to spend more than 600-700 EUR on it. My benchmark is my DAW PC configuration of which is in my signature. I can record and run similar and bigger projects on it without any problem, using Edirol M16-dx audio interface.

I would buy a new interface as well, probably one with MIDI IxO and 4 audio channels, USB.

    I just bought this MSI A6400-i507 S. I bought it for $550, don't know how much they go for in EU. IMHO- incredible value for the money.
