Novation Impluse 61 problem in Platinum not in X3 Producer

I still have X3 installed and all is well there, but in Platinum I get no keyboard input, the control surface works. Also the virtual Key board not working. Could be related.
 
X3 still good when I use. Save me time and assume I have basic understanding of assigning inputs. Plus the same project accepts keyboard in X3 but not in Platinum, so the assignments are the same and the prefs look the same.
 
Documentation for the Virtual KB is slim to non existent and I can't seem to make it work either.
 
Thanks for any help. I don't play a lot of keyboard so I just noticed that it was not working. The controls (sliders and such) on the Keyboard do rum my both x3 and Platinum. I only miss the keyboard when I need it, so I miss it now.
