Novation Remote SL question

Hi, all! The touchpad below the joystick and the joystick themselves...how do you assign parametes to them via the Automap? I do not see the graphic symbols for the touchpad and the joystick on the Automap interface, while all the other knobs and sliders are there and can be assigned any available parameter. Thank you :)

    I've got the older non-automapped Le keyboard. It comes with a program that you assign midi control numbers to. I guess that doesn't come with Automat?

    AT, there is probably a way to assign the pad and the joystick via the buttons on the controller, but the Automap is so easy that it would be great to have the ablity to assign the pad and the joystick via the Automap. The controller buttons, on the other hand, can be very confusing.

    Let us know if you figure it out. I'm interested in the little 49 key version with automat - tho it doesn't have a joystick/trackpad. Still, inquiring minds want to know.

    I couldn't figure out, so here I am, looking for help :) Automap is a great feature, especially if you like to tweak parameters as you are listening to your creation. It lets you see all the available parameters too on one page (on some synths there are a whole lot of parameters), and makes it easy to assign any parameter to any knob, slider, or button on Remote SL.

    can't speak for the SL , but the nocturn uses the same automap thing..

    in your sys tray have a look into the icon, if automap natively doesn't work (much like with reason) you can use it's virtual midi port.

    Fog, Automap works as advertised. However, once you open the Automap window where all the virtual sliders, knobs and buttons are listed (to which you can assign any available parameter), do you see the joystick or the touchpad graphic there? I don't, and thus I can't assign any parameters to the touchpad or joystick via the Automap.
