November Pre-order status

Well it's Nov.. When will the V-Studio 700 be available?

    I was told that pre-orders would start in November by one of the Cakewalk staff. While I was looking at the real thing.

    Oh, pre-orders. I guess they will start at some point this month, then. Do make note that the price went up to $4200, so Cake is still working out the details. THat is either a good thing - they are finalizing it, or bad, since the price is higher than anticipated and the hardware ain't finsihed.

    $4200-yep, with a $200 rebate or discount for those who already have Sonar 8. The prototype I saw looked really nice and solid. I hope the production models will be of the same quality.

    Its only the 12th, guys . We're still crossing our T's and dotting our I's, but we're still planning on taking pre-orders this months .

    I'm going to try and get two. If not then one and either a Presonus Live 16 4 2 or Steinberg MR CSX 16

    I'm not familiar with the Presous unit but isn't the Steinberg taylored toward Pro Tools , Cubase?

    dont be a fooled guys wait till next year when all the bugs on v700 will be fixed, You know it will have issuse's and the price is ridiculous $4200.00 in 1 year the price will be cut in half and if it isn't you can buy someones on ebay for half... I learned my lesson ... buy something that you know is proven to work flawless.. are there any beta testers out there with there thoughts.. someone that hasnt recieved it for free and wont talk highly just because...

    So far only Sweetwater has a preorder listing. I keep checking the dealer finder to see if my local GC picks it up so I can get it there and not have UPS drive it all over town. $4000 is a lot of money but I'm still expecting to get one. I assume it will be in the Roland product line but who knows.
