Novice user frustration

The metronome clicking is driving me crazy. Why is it on by default? Also, after I insert an audio track, I try to delete it. I think I am deleting it (the graphic goes away), but on playback I still hear the track!

Sakura, welcome to the forum !

Which version of Sonar are you running?

Are you deleting just the audio clip, or actually the whole track ?

Take a look at the top toolbar - there are some buttons to the right of the time-code display. Those buttons will allow you to enable or disable the metronome, on record, playback, or both. That will do the trick.

Hmmmm...There's somewhere here a longish thread about deleted audio still playing. IIRC it isn't solved yet, as no one seems to be experiencing the same.

Things like the metronome on/off....c'mon...read the manual/Help files.

    Turn metronome off, save template

Are you sure you're deleting the track and not just hiding it?

There is a bus with the metronome on it, (IIRC) id your using the normal default template. Delete it and save it as a template with a name of your choice. Then use that template to start new projects.
