Now THAT is a 4th of July...

Not only are there fireworks all over the neighbourhood, but we also get a thunderstorm w/ lightnings and all. All at once.
 
Our poor cats are worried sick.

    Now that's a Vegas show! 
     
    (Fireworks and thunder are not favorites of small animals though.)

    Oh man, my first wife and I had an Irish Setter (skitterish under the calmest of situations) who went berzerk during the fourth or thunder storms. I'm sure he would have had a heart attack in a simultaneous event such as that.
