Now Time marker doesn't work properly when Now time is set in Event List (Confirmed by CW)

I rarely use the Event List, but as a workaround for this issue I've been using it often lately and noticed this bug. If you're interested, follow these steps...
 
1. Create a new project.
2. Insert a MIDI track and record some note events in, say, Bar 5 (no need to insert a synth because you don't need to hear anything).
3. Select the clip and hit Alt+8 to open the Event List (but leave the Track view visible).
4. Select "On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker" from Track view's Options menu.
5. Hit W to return to zero.
6. In the Event List, click any of the note events in the clip. You see the Now Time marker jumps to that position in the Track view.
7. Hit Spacebar to start playback from there, then hit it again to stop.
 
[Expected Result]
The Now Time marker remains at the same position, and the Now time returns to that position when the playback is stopped.
 
[Actual Result]
The Now Time marker jumps to zero (beginning of the project) as soon as the playback starts, and the Now time returns to that position when the playback is stopped.

    Validated at my end with X3E. Thanks..

    Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.
