Now time display issue in X2 but not X1 or 8.5

Now time display issue in X2 but not X1 or 8.5

I opened an old project and noticed that, following a minimal amount of editing, the "Now Time marker" lags several measures behind the "Now Time line".  I can't tell which is correct as it plays and the only fix is to restart X2.

I opened the same project in X1 and 8.5 and can work for ages and never see the problem.  But as soon as I return to X2 the graphics issue with the Now Time marker and line becomes apparent within minutes of editing.

Very strange.  And very obvious.  Anyone else se this behaviour?  I'm trying to figure out if this is a general issue, or something about this particular project or what pattern is driving this....

    And somewhat related.  I also notice that in X2 I can't always zoom in and out using the ALT key modifier with the mouse scroll -- it kind of stops working randomly.

    Again, if I revert back to X1 or 8.5 I'm fine with zooming, but once I switch back to X2 the issue returns.  I like X2 overall but some of these issues are forcing me backward.

    I have to say, and duck at the same time, that when I do revert to 8.5, that the Track View part looks cleaner and more pleasing to the eye, such as the thinner borders and button-less styling for bus/sound card routing.  I've probably just de-railed my own thread now, hehe
