Nudge hotkeys stopped working

Right. I use these extensively to nudge audio clips. Before you say anything in haste I have:
 
- Checked numlock on numpad
- Made sure clips aren't locked
- Doublechecked shortcut bindings in preferences (all correct)
 
Why have the nudges 1-9 given up on me? When selecting an audio clip and i press 9 for example - instead of nudging 5ms right (as it normally did before) different parts of the channelsstrip gets selected instead.

    Maybe you accidentally hit the 0 key on the number pad. This is a toggle for a special VS700 mode.
