Number of Polyphonic in Sonar

Hi all

I am making a midi for my ringtone.
However, my mobile can only support 16-polyphonic.
How can I do how many polyphonic my midi file is?
Is there any function in SONAR that can help to give me the max. no of notes that I've used?

Thanks all~

That would mean the number of simultaneous notes.

You could paste all midi to one track and count them. A quick google search shows polyphony counters, like this one written in CAL for cake.

Just load your midi, inserst TTS-1 as a synth and check it's polyphony ("POLY") indicator on the mid right while playing it.

Who makes your mobile phone? If it's a Nokia, they have this software that can get your MIDI file and you can name how much polyphony each track takes and prioritize them before uploading to your phone. So if you have a Nokia, go to Nokia's site and downlaod Nokia PC Suite.
