OFFSET button not working - Is there a 'christmas-tree-mode' to check the lights?

Is your "OFFSET" button lighting up upon pressing? Mine isn't. My biggest 'fear' always has been that a single non-functioning lamp does a) drive me nuts so that I have to b) send the whole console to my dealer

I've never seen that light on either. Probably "normal" but you're right it should indicate the offset mode is working. Can be really confusing. Maybe report a bug?

Found another bug. You can't open up Plugins placed on BUSes via CMD+ACT. Once it somehow worked after clicking around via the mouse. Usually however it doesn't work. Also, sometimes you have to use the mouse (e.g. to create a Stereo-BUS). When you then want to get your Multidock back to Trackview via the console, it doesn't work - you have to click on the Multidock again (to regain focus somehow). I guess it's time to register my VS700 to officially hand in bug reports ... I'm sad, that we hear nothinng from the devs. Nothing but "no, we won't stop developing the VS700" once in a while ... There must be dozens of bugs reported yet, right? Did anyone of you ever report a bug?

I send bug report regularly and no news anywhere. Not even something like " we are working on something". Could be nice to be updated from time to time...

It's too bad.  I feel like they have been scrambling so much too fix X1 that we are left by the wayside.  I really thought I would be joining an elite team that would be supported big time when I bought the system.  Not to say I dislike the system....I just feel abandoned by cakewalk.  I was really disappointed when X1 came out and was not workinng with my VS controller.  Just proved that we were an afterthought.  Oh well.....I am doing most of my work in Studio  One now anyway.

Any X2 user: could you please try, if the non-functional OFFSET button light is now lighting up when activated?

Offset button has never lit up, no. I've put in a bug report about it before. It's a weird omission.
