OK - let's get Halloween started.
Hi all. I originally wrote this song about ten years ago. This got recorded over about a two year period. Initially I recorded the main tracks with my friend Mike Valaskis. I played guitar, programmed the drums - Mike played bass guitar - sang and added some percussion. After we finished it - a few other people got ahold of it and brought it to it's current state of dissaray. Alan Smith did the slow motion/backwards wierd stuff in the middle. My Partner did the singin' and shoutin' and Bill Davies added some of the wierd sounds. I did the final mix of this one. I drag this our every couple of years - so I'm sure a lot of you have already heard this. But, it's been a couple of years - so here it is again. Thanks for taking a listen to Scared - enjoy. http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=8233424&q=hi&newref=1

First time listen to this and a perfect fit for the season Mark....nicely mixed too!! I bet if you used a pitch shifter and dropped the talking/laughing voice a few notches, that might add some additional effect on the theme. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks, guys. On the lyrics that I wrote and sang (if you want to call it that) I did the special effects. I can't even remember how I did them. Pitch bender seems familiar. a lot of delay. LOL This is crazy and I know I should have backed off on the effects a bit because I can't even understand the ones I sing. I've been on the road so this is the first time I've had a chance to see this. Cattle country at my relatives ranches. Great time but a bit out of touch. have fun.

Thanks for posting this. I remember this one but I love it every time I hear it. Great production and I luv that clean guitar work. But doggone it, Warrens hootin' and hollerin' scared me so bad, I had to go change clothes.

So, Mark has remixed this with the vocals up a bit so you can hear my crazy words. Not Pulitzer material but kinda fum. If you have listened and have the time to listen again, let us know if it sounds better. Back to work. I'm too old to work anymore. I don't do it a lot!
