OMF Export Trouble !!

Hello everyone. I'm attempting to export tracks from Sonar 8.5 PE as OMFs to give to an engineer to mix. I select "export audio", OMF, version 2, Riff wave, combine audio & OMF. It looks like the tracks are being bounced (they pop up briefly on the bottom of the screen" but it does this forever. I'm talking like 2+ hours. My spider sense says that it's getting hung up somewhere. I've cancelled it and it asks if i want to save the export audio so far - i say yes and then it tells me it can't because of an error. My song has about 75 tracks and a million edits. The only midi I have is a session drummer track (and I've deactivated SD before the export). QUESTIONS: Am I doing something wrong? What's the best way to export each track individually so they retain their pan and track title info? Do I need to "bounce to clip" every clip on a track so there's just a single wav for each track before exporting? My engineer doesn't need to see each little clip edited together... Thanks for any help!

Someone who knows more will surely chime in, but Í'll start with some questions.
I've never done OMF export so I don't know about any special tricks included, just speculating:

What have you chosen as the export source? IIRC it should be "Tracks" in order to result separate wav for each track. If the program is exporting 75 audio tracks with FX  to separate wavs it should take some time, but 2 hrs still sounds like too much.

I understand you've bounced the drums to audio? The MIDI track is not included in the export source, is it?

Bouncing to clips surely isn't necessary.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.

good question: There are less options than I would have thought when I go to Export>OMF. I can't find where it will/would allow me to only export certain tracks...it seems to automatically want to do the whole project. I've tried soloing and selecting an individual track but it keeps trying to do the whole thing. FWIW, I'm running NO fx/plugins on anything and I have no v-vocal active.

I have never done this either so just a guess that the rendering of 75 tracks into a different format could take a long time. Try posting on the X1 forum as there are way more experienced users there. This forums a bit of a dead end now.

thanks guys, i haven't checked out the X1 forums yet. I'm in a time crunch, so i just decided to export wavs. that doesn't address my issue/question but it's a suitable workaround for now. when i get some time, i'll try to export OMFs from a project file that only has 2-3 tracks and no edits to see how long that takes for comparison.
