OMG!!! What a hastle!!
I am beat!! I hardly slept last night, and first thing in the morning I went to Costco, because a Floor Demo Computer Monitor I purchased last April, totally blacked out on me.
After talking to three different managers, I finally got the OK to exchange, but the only two monitors Costco had in stock ( Costco business plan, actually depends on keeping a small selection ) where 24 inch monitors.
I decide to go with a Samsung 24 incher, ( shame the inches aren't in my under.. ) anyways.. I get home and the vga cord doesn't fit the dvi on my HP.
I go to Office Depot for an adapter, the adapter doesn't fit. I wind up at Walmart, after I had driven home from Office Depot, and driven back to Office Depot to fetch my money.
At Walmart I have to buy an HDMI Cable, and an adapter, because my computer doesn't have an HDMI input.
Anyways, I've just returned home from Walmart, and I've connected everything, and ofcourse the display is wicked High Def. Still, I'm not happy with retailers, they really screw you over on the little things. They will totally knock a tv down to a price point were they hardly break even, and then happily charge you $32 for $0.50 worth of cable and adapter. Its disgusting..
