OMG these are brutal!

I got beads of sweat forming in top of my head, and my nose is runny, and my eyes are watering.

Ooooo.

My sister in-law (23) who can eat "very hot" foods was challenged to eat a ghost pepper at one of her frieds party. This pepper she ate was something like close to 150,000 times hotter than a habanero.

She was taken to the ER.

Hot food is good, inexpensive. You don't need to buy, say, meat at all, just put the spices on a heated, wet newspaper, tofu or pulp. You wouldn't taste the meat anyway :o)

Chili makes me sweat like a horse even when it's not hot. It's enough that it's chili - in  one minute I must start drying my head and face. The sweat drips from my brows.

Coming from New Mexico where the best Chile in the world is grown and cultivated I was introduced to a pepper that has pretty much everything I have eaten beat in the heat factor.

He showed me a Thai Pepper plant he was growing and laughingly challenged me to taste a fresh pepper from his harvest. Needless to say it almost welded my teeth together and forced me to drink 4 beers straight to cool it down(of course that did not bother me at the time).

I should have been tipped off by the fact that the peppers were pointing straight up like the plant was flipping me the bird as if to say "Is this your day Punk?"

I used to eat those Cape Cod chips all the time. They also do a reduced fat one which is surprisingly nice.

I ate half a bag of those for lunch yesterday. Half a big bag ... no problem except for a fiery tongue.

For supper, I made a pizza from scratch. Made the dough by hand, used jarred sauce, but I forgot myself and put Pepperoni on it. OMG, it's like someone poured battery acid down my throat.

I can eat the most rot gut food you put in front of me, I have one tiny piece of Pepperoni, and I'm ruined for days. Water burns like fire when I drink it now.

    Grrr.

The pizza was good though. :) Never made one before from scratch like that. Flour everywhere, slipping and sliding all over the kitchen.

I like to grow cayenne peppers. I love to eat them with almost anything. Will stay away from ghost peppers!!

I'll look for those chips.. they look good!

If you evergo to a Chinese buffet they have the sweet and sour chicken pieces. Try them in the chili sauce they all seem to have. It is red, slightly chunky, with pepper seeds. I like the chicken that way a LOT better than with the sweet sauce on it.

I grew some hot peppers one year. They were really good. Forget what variety they were though.

I love General Tao's Chicken. Some places make it spicy, some don't, I prefer it spicy.

No point drinking water, beer, soda or anything like that if your tongue is burning. Drink milk. The fat in it neutralizes the heat. That's why Indians drink Lassi with curries(not Lassie...well maybe..)

Once I had a roommate with whom I liked to drink pepper wodka from Poland.

Since this was a bit expensive, we tried to make our own.

We took a normal wodka and soaked peppers in there for about a month.
The result was far better than we had expected
    It was undrinkable.
    (that is unfunny)
