ONE MORE YEAR!!!!
Just bought another year of Sonar! Yeah, baby! Had a few bumps last year but mostly I enjoyed the monthly updates. Other than stability I've never cared about what features Cakewalk decide they want to put in their DAW. In the end, as long as I can push record and it records I think its incredible! I can take it from there.
I read the forum and gain helpful knowledge but can't help but wonder why some complain about this (or any) DAW? Do they realize what opportunity we have been afforded by the advancement of computers? The development of software like Sonar? It's ridiculous what it takes to appease some people.
So this year I've decided to make more music and stop gawking at the screen! If you write a great song (I haven't yet) whatever means you chose after that is almost irrelevant. It's nearly impossible to mess up a well-written song. By that I mean if the song is good then the type of compressor you decide to use WILL NOT matter. The general public DOES NOT CARE.
