OT: Blown PA speaker

We blew out a mid speaker today. Anyone know where to find:

4 inch mid-range speaker
8 Ohm
100 Watt

Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

Thanks

Honestly, I have been searching the web. That seems to be an odd speaker config. I'll keep looking.

You might be able to get a replacement from Carvin. They do carry more than the sample the web page offers.

What kind of PA speaker was it (make and model)? I don't know of many PA speakers with 4 inch mids... You weren't using stereo speakers on your PA system, were you????

These were homemade PA speakers I bought about 8 years ago. I got them for a steal at a local pawn shop. I've owned many PA speakers but NONE of them sound as good as these.

I finally found a guy in town that has some in stock. He said I was lucky because that config is really rare.

I called them. They had never heard of a 4 inch speaker with that config. They were very helpful but unable to get me what I needed.
