OT: E-mu 1.8 Beta Drivers, New Official Forum

Hey everyone,

Though I'd post here for the larger audience what I posted in a thread in the Gear forum.

There are beta 1.8 drivers available, albeit in a roundabout way. Beta 1.8 drivers that work in Win XP are included in the Win XP 64 beta package located here:

I have not tried them yet and probably will not until the release drivers come out, so I don't know if they help at all. The initial reports are mixed.

Creative has started an official "Creative Professional" forum on a test basis that appears to include E-mu. I am hopeful that this will take off.

    I don't know why CL just hasn't had an E-Mu forum at their website all along. All the reasons I can think of do not reflect well on them and it would not seem to be that much more of a hassle since they already have some decent forums going. [sm=rolleyes.gif]
