OT- Forum so slow, anyone else having problem?

I posted this here because this is where I go all the time.  I checked cable boxes, etc., rebooted, etc and this thing just takes 3 times as long to change screens as it used to, for me.  Other sites seem to work quickly.  Has my computer become allergic to CW or is anyone else having this problem.  It's frustrating.  Thanks and sorry for doing this here.

It sucks all the fun out of it...
I've had problems here ever since my browser was updated to IE 9...
I changed back to IE 8 and the problems went away...
but I started having problems with other sites, like SoundCloud, so I switched back... I believe this forum software badly needs a re-write... but I could be wrong... I'm really not interested in using other browsers like Google Chrome or Firefox, but I may have to...

Yes. I've been away for a while and noticed that as of recent the software does seem obviously slower than it had in the past.

It has always been slow for me. It is not our browsers, it is their lousy carrier, and horrific software. They may have speed, but it seems like they are on a saturated subnet, so it takes a long to to make connections. Once connections are made, its quick.. but.. I spend a lot of time waiting.
