OT: New articles and tips at the Project5 Wiki

Hey gang,

Just wanted to let you know there have been some recent updates to the Project5 Wiki.

One is an update to Richard Sincovec's article on setting the Windows pagefile. Others are some tips that we've seen mentioned in recent threads here.

Check 'em out: http://p5.sonarama.com/p5/index.php/Special:Recentchanges

    Hey Bob,
Great work you're doing!!! I was wondering if you could also update us from time to time about important updates to the Sonar wiki over here in this forum. I'm sure most people won't mind the updates!

    Keep up the Great work!!!
    -MDK

edit: I just noticed that I couldn't find a link on the P5 wiki to the Sonar wiki...or vice versa...*

    *I'd do it but I don't know how---yet!

Thanks for the nice note, MDK, plus, there are now links in the software integration sections on each Wiki to the other Wiki.

Thanks Bob, what a great job you've done in making these wikis come alive. The behind the scenes backups and programming and all that are plenty enough for me to worry about ... there is 0 (zero) chance that this thing would be what it is without you.

In any event, Bob brings up a great point: be sure to bookmark http://p5.sonarama.com/p5/index.php/Special:Recentchanges and also
    (for Sonar) http://sonar.sonarama.com/sonar/index.php/Special:Recentchanges .

Additionally, you can also subscribe to the RSS feeds:

    For Sonar: http://sonar.sonarama.com/p5/index.php?title=Special:Recentchanges&feed=rss

    - and be updated automatically!

The RSS feeds are excellent! Those pop right into my Opera web browser and each time I go online I get a little popup box indicating Wiki changes for me to read. Very cool feature.

For everyone involved in this, awesome work. There really should be a sticky to the wiki (a wiki sticky?) on this forum. Or Cakewalk should just give control of P5.com over to you guys.

To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

    @techead:

can you please take down the drum programing techniques. since I dont have the audio files anymore...I was planning on creating a new version as a pdf file, and a P5 file to go with it. that way anyone can download the P5 file, and the pdf to go with it.

    thanks.

but it might be a little bit before I get to it.....
