O.T. Some Exciting News!

 
 
 I will be performing in concert at the Flynn Theater in Burlington, VT (1,453 seats) on September 17th to benefit the VNA and Hospice. I have invited my Canadian friend, Paul Dacier to join me on stage for a few tunes and we will have an Irish dance group performing along with us. Thias is a HUGE venue and always has sold-out shows. (That is me on the stage in the photo) I watched Bryan Adams perform on this very stage back in April. I'm very excited and I hope that all of you can come.   Here is the Flynn's online ad. Wow!  Congrats!  That will be a very exciting evening and looks like a great place to perform.  Is there plans to record it (video/audio)?  We all could "be there" via YouTube that way.

I wish I could make it. I haven't seen some good fiddlin' action since I went to a Dave Grisman/Jean-Luc Ponty (with Stephane Grapelli) concert in the 80's and Mark O'Connor put down his guitar for a bit to trade 8's with Ponty and Grapelli. Good times. Hope you do well and make tons of money for a good cause.

Excellent news and sincere congratulations. I am certain it is going to be a stunning evening and very much wish I could be there - unfortunately there is a very large puddle between you and me and I very much doubt I can swim that quickly!

Thanks! I plan to have fun and I would love to get pics, but I don't think that flash photography is allowed at the Flynn. I doubt it will be videographed either, but I plan to do an audio recording if it is not prohibited by the house rules.
