OT: Video Equip Dealer

I need to purchase some HiDef cameras and switcher to do video work. I've googled things but haven't found any dealers that look trustworthy.

Can someone point me to a reputable dealer?

    BH Photo for me to.

Don't expect a conversation or advice. But they will deliver the goods as professionally as can be expected.

I've on rare occasions ordered something unsuitable for my use... and they have always taken a return with grace and efficiency.

    Mike:
Yep, but in the "your mileage may vary' category....

Last year I had a very high profile recording for NPR to do and needed some DPA microphones very very fast. I got on the phone with my rep at B&H - they were at my door by 11:30 the next day. I also had noticed they had their specs wrong on the website, and he had them fixed by the next day a well. Amazing.

It sounds like we agree... just saying it different.

Over the years I've spent more with BH than I paid for my house... and the house is paid for.

    best,

In fact, I have been looking for a Pro Camera - If you know the Panasonic AG-DVX100B / It has progessive mode that is far far more important to me than HD will be for several years. Great camera.

B&H most likely will be my supplier

I have all my cables made at MarkerTek. Fabulous people... great phone conversations.

    Do you work there George?

edit: ahhh, I see you're on the Sound... I thought Port Chester might have been near Kingston... which is near Saugerties.
