Oh, Jan. The modem isn't here yet. It's being closely guarded by the same responsible driver that brought me Rapture. The one that still can't find the Swamp. The one that lost the package in the warehouse. The same package that I had to hunt down myself, and go pick up.

Luckily, the modem isn't coming via Next-Day. There's some hope ...
Gee, I'm running out of bookmarks.

Edit: Wow. That's even freakier over a dialup. Finally. Worse dancers than myself.

I'm hooked. I'm on my third video from these guys. I want to get all their albums. I'm not sure if I'm kidding or not here.

To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

    Jan.

I visited the link you provided.

I have questions. Very serious questions.

I'm not even sure what they are yet. But, yes, I have questions.

makes me want to dig out my old vinyl 'Yellow Magic Orchestra' collection

the fundamental question here for a few days was the possibility of music outside western theory OR as I reframed it slightly outside western sensibilty.
Here's a question: irony or no irony?
It has been said that one of the fundamental differences between country music and pop music is that country music (at least at one time) had no sense of irony (Shania Twain may have introduced a touch here and there all that 'Man i feel like a woman' and all that)
When the whole culture goes self-referential, curling back on itself well I think this sort of Japanese pop may or may not be a result -- depending on how you answer the irony or no irony question and if there is any entertainment value in the ironic stance.

Me, too. It took all night to upload. Very Dan Deacon-esque, if you ask me.
I'm turning Japanese. I think I'm turning Japanese. I really think so.

Yes. Or no. Well. Maybe. Perhaps. Ironically, I forgot the question...

I watched this and thought of Lene Lovich's "Lucky Number". It's even more bizarre than the vid in my sig.
