OT: old enough to remember Wizball + Green Beret?

Reyn Ouwehand reworks 2 of Martin Galway's c64 best know game / sid tunes.. He in his own right did some great music for c64 games back in the day.. but well I liked it anyway. ported from 3 channel c64 versions.. you can download/hear the original c64 Sid versions on HVSC (just don't rip em off like a lame so called "talented" producer)

2 versions.. if you don't want to bother.. the original c64 version + the remakes..

is his take on the title music.. one man band

I guess this was the only place I could post it, as it's the technique of reworking older known tunes.

montezuma.. I went to system 3, who made last ninja.. IK+ etc.. as it's very close to where I am and a friend was working on a game for them. amazing games , rubbish company... they didn't pay my friends in sonix systems for the music for turbo charge

the games series, all by "epyx" who did great games, but they went broke. you forgot pit stop 2 and impossible mission

the guy in the video "Reyn" did the music for last ninja 3... also

yep.. errm Ben Daglish and Anthony Lees did the music for it.

but the guy who programmed it John Twiddy is legendary.. he did the expert trilogic cartridge , cyberload and a fair few more games.. He really did push the machine.

3 was nice also, esp the intro.. you'll probably find it on youtube.

montezuma , get yaself off to HVSC if ya wanna hear the stuff again

Wizball was wonderful, had it on an Atari 1040

Sadly very reduced studio equipment as it is... ASUS G750J, 8 gb RAM, Win8, Roland Quad Capture.

I never could work out how to play Wizball. Green Beret was a joystick smashing frustration too. Ghosts n Goblins was a tough one too.

Wizball was hard in the beggining and you really couldn't controll it at all but after acidently upgrading your wizball you could

you can relive it if you want...

the c64 version was the best and the original.. the 16 bit versions just lacked something.

montezuma, you get rid of the things initially in bounce mode... pick up the icon they leave behind and waggle (fast left / fast right.. repeat) until it selected the icon.. the first 2 sorted out the anti grav.. etc..

then you got the cat.. the smaller ball.. and you used that to pick up the colours , to colour in the land..
