OT:Delta 44 Current or Reliable Driver?

All:
I am in a dilema regarding most current and most reliable Delta 44 drivers. I have read here some folks prefer an older version over a newer varsion. Below are the details from M-Audio's driver site - Can anybody tell me which rev is desirable albeit config matters I realize.

Thanks

I'm using the current driver, and it works well for me. A lot of people seem to like the .27 driver, but as far as I can remember it wasn't too spectacular in my system.

I have never seen a version that performed differently than any of the others to be honest.

Many people favor .27 for one reason or another, but that versioni is actually quite outdated. Unless you experience specific problems I would use the latest drivers whenever you may.

I'm on .27, don't have any problems, and never change a working system without a reason to.

I guess so, on the driver panel it says "Version 5.10.00.0027". But it's different for any machine, just like WDM vs. ASIO; the same card can rock with WDM in one PC and suck in the next.

Bumping for anyone still using this card, lol. Hey, if it works....
I'm on version .5074 drivers on my Delta 66 for a while now. I remember trying more recent drivers (6.08 I think) and they were more finicky. This is on Windows 7 64-bit.
I'll report back on whether these drivers work with Windows 10 or if they don't, what does.

I've been on the driver version 6.08 for years now (Win 7 SP1 64 bit), and it has always worked well.

I use ASIO, yup still works, best $500 I've ever spent on hardware, gets along with Sonar perfectly, even though it's been dragged into "Legacy" on the M-Audio site (probably means no new updates ;)

Phoenix, it would be great to know if anyone has it working on Windows 10 !
There was another thread where someone said they had a Delta 1010 working in Win 10, and I think it's the same driver ?

Yeah, delta 1010 working fine on Windows 10 with 6.0.8. I remember the last driver I used with my 44's was one of the 5.10's, If I recall correctly, updating much past that and you lost some control in the mixer, no faders or way to adjust stuff, but it seemed necessary to have the 1010's working good in Windows 7
