I anticipate this will be the definitive faux-acoustic guitar library, the standard by which all others will be measured. And I haven't even heard it yet. That prediction is based entirely on OTS's past performance with electric guitar libraries, which are currently the best there is, and the long gestation time of this product.
I knew it was a mistake to buy groceries this week!

Yeah--sorry about that. Unfortunately Kontakt isn't very friendly when it comes to loading patches made with new versions--it should at least give you a hint as to why the NKI won't load. :P

I'm still kicking myself for not upgrading to Kontakt 4 when it was 79 bucks. This just might be the impetus that compels me to upgrade.

Native Instruments has been having discounts more and more often, so I'm guessing it won't be long before they have another upgrade special or something. After buying Kontakt 2, I've been upgrading through their specials and got a great deal that way. :)

Hi Greg,
Congratulations on the release! I agree with Dave (bitflipper) that this probably will become the standard to meet for acoustic guitar sample playing, based on your previous meticulous work. If I had more time (and disk space!), I'd get it immediately.

An Orange Tree Samples customer just shared this track he created two hours after downloading Evolution Acoustic Guitar - Steel Strings. It gives you a very good idea of what you can do with this library right away -- I think it's also a good example why I find this (and their electric guitar library) is such a big deal to anyone who wants to simulate real guitar from the keyboard: http://soundcloud.com/de-...iz/a-good-life-preview
