OUT OF MEMORY?

I have Sonar X1 Essential running on Windows 7 Professional, and I've had it for a couple of months.

I've imported about 20 MP3 files and added voice tracks to them and still have them saved.

Today I started a another new one.  I gave it a name, then clicked import, found the file,
clicked on it to import, and received an OUT OF MEMORY message.

I then checked my CPU and it is showing 5-10% usage.  I still lowered the number of startups I have
and rebooted.  Dumped a temp files, etc.

Tried it again....no change! My Sonar is build 185 and I have not downloaded any updates since
it is so new.  AND, I can still open any of the previous files and use the software.

So what am I missing?

Very grateful for a response!

Does it only happen on that one file?

Dave that was it!  My MP3 must have been corrupted and caused the out of memory message.  I was able to import to other files just fine.

Thanks for suggesting that I check that, it didn't even occur to me.

Have a great weekend.

Odds are it's an MP3 with protection, if you convert it with any media converter program it will import fine.
