Oblivion
Anyone seen this movie yet? My son and I went over the weekend. We both really liked it. Really different story and plot twists. I want to be the technician in this story. Free food, house and hot chick to live with also a pool with a view and a great transportation vehicle. The hard part to believe, he goes searching for more.

Looks like yet another potentially killer movie I really wish they hadn't cast Tom Cruise as the lead in...
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Sure looking forward to seeing it. I'll wait for the DVD and hope it's offered in 3d.

Have not seen it yet. Saw the trailers and such, looks like it be a great movie. That flying car was built to full scale. Very impressive. I'm going to wait for this movie to be available on DVD and then snatch it up. Meanwhile, I might get Skyfall (new 007 movie)!

Yep, saw it. Great movie! I might have been able to make that Technician role work for me a while longer.

I saw it in IMAX. Beautiful looking film. Soundtrack and surround sound was great. But the movie tech must be deaf. They played this so darn loud. I was tempted to complain about it but figured that wouldn't do much. I am talking ringing ears loud. Scared me with my tinnitus but I seem to have recovered. I am not a big sci-fi person but do enjoy them on occasion. Unfortunately I was a bit lost and confused about it until it kicked in about 2-hours later on what had occurred (duuuhhhh). I will give it a thumbs up though. My wife is not a Tom Cruise fan and hated the all-too-many facial closeups of the Cruiser. Personally, I think he has done some good films and don't mind the guy, except when he goes into those weird talk show modes.

My wife has been a Bond fanatic ever since the early days of Dr No and in her opinion, Skyfall is the worst ever and has been hyped up beyond belief.

I was never a big Cruise fan. Then I saw Les Grossman and the veil lifted. His telephone *instruction* to the kidnappers ("Take a step back..") is what the rewind button was invented for. Looks like Oblivion is worth a visit then. I'm assuming it's not a film version of the Bethesda RPG game?
