October intro sale for Sonar X3

The sale that ends today, is the only "promo" the Gobbler storage or is the upgrade also being offered at a reduced price? I was originally going to upgrade my X2 Producer sometime later in the year, but if the $149 price ends today, I'd rather bite the bullet and just sit on the software until I'm ready to upgrade.
 
(note: I have no interest in the Gobbler functionality)
