Odd Cosmetic Bug

Today I stumbled upon a couple of cosmetic oddities in X2a that can frustrate the hell out of anyone else who's seen this. Now I figured out what was going on, I'll share it here instead of reporting it directly to Cakewalk. I feel like the forum gets better attention than the bug report system.

Have you done any Automation (especially Gain) automation and found you could only move up or down the entire Gain envelope instead of a single section between to anchor points? I found this to be that this was simply because the Lanes and Automation Lanes buttons on the left-hand column were not visible. The red Gain Automation line was located in the top bar of a Lane, vs. super-imposed over the lane. This happens when you enable the Lanes button for a track, then shrink the "Track" layer so that only the Name of the Track, Mute, Solo etc buttons show. This can sometimes be the scenario when freshly opening a session. Here's how to duplicate:

1) Select a track.
2) Click (Enable) the Lanes button to show your lanes. At least two lanes may be needed to see this.
3) On one of the lanes, click the pull-down (where it says Clips) and select "Clip Automation" and select "Gain".
4) Note the red Gain envelope appears over the audio waveform in the lane.
5) Now, shrink the height of the track (not the lane of the track) so that only the Name, Mute, Solo, etc. buttons appear.
6) Note what the red Gain envelope did. It probably moved to the top of the lane. Now, you can only bring up/down the entire envelope, not just your "dots", or Anchor points.

Workaround: Just ensure your track displays the Lanes button, and you should be OK.

To add another cosmetic bug:
1) From the scenario above, try this. Expand the height of the track so you can see the lanes button again.
2) Now, while you still see the red Gain envelope on the Lane (it should now be super-imposed on the waveform again), enable "Clip Automation", and select "Pan".
3) A yellow Pan envelope should now appear on the lane, just as the red Gain envelope did in Step 4 above.
4) Now, In the pull-down, select "Clips" again. This should return you to just the waveform, and no red or yellow lines. Instead, the yellow line disappears, but the red line remains.
5) Now, in the pull-down, select "Clip Automation" and "Gain" again, even though, yes, we already have a red Gain envelope/line in the Lane. But note that the yellow Pan envelope re-appears!

NOTE: The opposite is true if the red line disappears in Step 4 above. Either way, you should be able to see this weirdness.

Workaround: Click the Lanes button to Disable and Re-enable lanes.
