Odd behavior dragging a MIDI clip from a take lane

I find editing MIDI data very cumbersome when the track of interest has multiple take lanes.

So, when I drag a MIDI clip from a take lane to a blank spot on a new MIDI track, the UI feedback of displaying the ghosted clip in the destination track does not occur, but the clip will actually land there some of the time.

Any one else see this?

I tend to encounter lots of oddities, but don't think I've ever seen what you've described. Does it happen only in a specific project or can you reproduce it in a new project created from the Basic project template? (I couldn't.)
