Off Topic forum browsing question

After the forum server crashed the other day I cannot access the forums from my IE explorer browser.  It brings me to Cakes homepage where I still cannot access the forums, it just stays at the homepage.  On my Vista computer I can access everything normally, so I am guessing its a problem with the cookies or temperary internet files, I have deleted both of those and still have the same issue.
Is there something else I need to delete in IE or windows 7?  Never run into this problem and I am new to W7.
Thanks for any help provided

This may not have any bearing on your issue, but I just let Windows update install IE9, and it has major issues browsing the forum. No problem getting there, but it consistently hangs and crashes after a few minutes' browsing.

Coincidentally, IE9 was released just a couple days before amazon went haywire, so it what looks like a post-crash forum problem could be due to a browser upgrade. But I saw the problem at least a day before the forum went down, so I know something's wrong with IE9 (on this PC at least).

    I'm using Chrome now.

It may be an IE9 issue and I just flagged the web developers on this. I am getting the same behavior.

So expect an update in the X1B version of their restore with possible quickfixes to follow. (Sorry, had to go there)
