Offset with Loop Recording after X3E update?

Hey guys.

So I'm reworking a Diamond Head cover I did back in 2008, because other than sounding awful, I wanted to play around with the song again.  I'm multi-tracking guitar parts through Sonar's TH2 before I move onto dual-micing my amp (possibly with re-amping).  When recording a section of the song, each take seems to jump forward a whole bar, rendinger those takes useless.  I could cut and re-arrange the clips, but I'd rather have the glitch resolved.  The X3E update states that the patch should resolve the issue, but it seems to remain.  Anyone else have similar issues?

Yes, I have encountered that but not consistently. The problem seems to be a one-measure metronome count-in. I haven't experienced this enough to try for a fix...I don't know if (for example) a two-measure or two-beat count-in fixes it, but I've never had it happen with no metronome count-in.

I will try to come up with a repeatable recipe to pass along to the bakers.

If it happens to you consistently, it would be helpful to have steps to reproduce. I seem to have "check engine light on" syndrome, where as soon as you get to the car dealer, the "check engine light" goes off  When I try to reproduce the problem so I can send something to the bakers, it refuses to act up.

Whenever I have loop record on it will offset the recordings, usually running a guitar track with Guitar rig 5 on, this is in both sound on sound mode and comping.....It also does it recording MIDI tracks as well.

Latest X3, Win 8....It only started when I installed X3e sometime ago.

My only workaround is to not record in looping mode which kinda defeats the object. i havent tried yet with a 2 bar count in yet tho, which I will try.

Ridiculous...

this just cost me an hour that I'll never get back... Was barking up a wrong tree foruming "latency and offset issues" sad that this made it through the net.

I'm sure "Upgrading to Platinum will fix the issue" NEVER AGAIN! (he says now ;)

If anyone hasn't "upgraded to Platinum, I found a workaround: Change the 1 measure to 4 "beats" effectively the same thing time wise.
