Offsetting the left and right components of a single, stereo audio clip?

As you know, stereo audio clips have both a left and right audio component. You even have the option to record in stereo or audio when doing any type of audio recording, i.e. vocals.

What I like to do sometime is offset the left and right audios of a stereo clip ever so slightly to create that nice stereo spread. And just to clarify, I don't mean managing seperate clips in any way--just offsetting the left and right components of one SINGLE audio clip.

Like in Adobe Audion, you have the multitrack view and also a clip edit view where you can find-tune and edit any audio clip. And actually, with Audition, you can seperately select and manage the left and right parts of an audio clip. Is that possible in Sonar X1? And if so, how?

Add the Channel Tools effect to the Fx bin of the clip and that will allow you to alter the individual channels of the stereo audio, including applying a delay, etc.

You can also split to two mono tracks and nudge. Then pan one left and the other right.

    Gear: A bunch of stuff.

Move the microphone an inch further to the side.
