Old Sonar Problem that Won't GO AWAY

Anybody that uses KEY BINDINGS ever notice that space bar stops working occasionally to either START or STOP a project?  This is a real nuisance.  Doing a SAVE of the project fixes the problem for awhile, until it start happening again.

It feels to me like a memory leak or something that the SAVE cleans up?  Is the UNDO buffer getting too big?  Not sure what it is but if anyone who has experienced this issue and has a real fix, I am all ears.

Thanks,
Jim

I have never had this happen Jim.  However, I rarely have more than 10 - 20 tracks in a project.  What kind of keyboard connection do you have (ps2, USB, USB on a hub, bluetooth)?

There are some VST plugins that will prevent Sonar from receiving key presses because they steal keyboard interrupts when in focus. If you notice this only when a VST is open, you can click anywhere in the main Sonar window to get the key strokes back to Sonar.

I have a USB keyboard connection (AXIOM 61, not the PRO).  I don't think it happens only when a VST GUI is open and in focus.  A couple things for sure that always happen before this happens.

    1) I have done quite a lot of editing using the PRV
    2) As soon as I save the project, the problem goes away for awhile (which does support was Dan was saying). Perhaps the SAVE forces the SONAR GUI to be in focus and not a VSTi?

    Thanks for the feedback.

I find any VST that is hosted in bit-bridge will always eat keystrokes when it is in focus, which stops the space-bar from starting/stopping playback.  This is the only time I see this.
