On a positive note - Jamstix 3 and X1 now...

Ive only had time to play with Jamstix 3xx and X1-32bit.

No crashes and Jamstix seems to act and behave itself well within X1.

I did use/import different kits from Toontrack Superior 2, and imported midi files from the Toontrack midi folder, and all worked EXTREMLY well inside of X1.

Impressed....

That's good news. I find myself so reluctant to go back to trying X1 as I fell in love with 8.5 all over again when X1 wasn't working well.

Thanks for the jamsix report. I'll pull up a project and see how she flies.

I've been debating between getting Jamstix or Mdrummer, do you have any experience with Mdrummer? Jamstix looks great, but the music demos on their site all sound so muddy and dull, are they brighter in real use, or do you have to use other drum programs for sound quality?

    Thanks,

Well, 32-bit might be fine, but 64-bit is still nothing but pain and heartbreak. Lots of constant crashes and error messages. Rayzoon is still scratching their heads about it.
