One Last Halloween Video - "Made of Glass"
One Last Halloween Video - "Made of Glass" Hi, Guys, I figured I'd try to squeeze in one last Halloween video, this one's from three years ago, and features a ghostly ballerina who lives in a mirror, inside a snow globe, in a creepy room, down a dark tunnel. LOL, and on the bright side, I get smashed with a hammer right before the guitar solo. Jeeze, come to think of it, I haven't had that happen since I was playing the biker bar circuit a few years back! "Made of Glass" from the album "Face The Fire". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2I2ZGQ0xYo If you have a few minutes, thanks for checking it out, and have a great week, guys! Best Wishes,Bob

Bob, I haven't been to the Cakewalk forums in a long time, but I remember you from years ago. Dude, that was really well done! Loved the ballerina in a mirror. Sounds great through computer speakers. Kinda reminds me of Alter Bridge, which I mean as a compliment.

hornplayer: Hey, Charley, Sure I remember you from a while back, some really great saxophone work if I remember correctly! It's great to see you back on the forum! Thank you so much for taking time to check out the video, and also for your very kind words! I really appreciate the Alter Bridge reference, I've got all their albums since the first release, and I love Myles Kennedy's vocal work on all of Slash's albums, too. I actually just saw Alter Bridge in concert back in August, dynamite show! Thanks again, Charley, and have a great week! Bob

LOL, Yep, I just squeezed in the post around 9 0'clock on the 30th, so it only had a shot for about 27 hours of Halloween, but I figured "what the heck"! Thanks again, Phil, I always look forward to your input and observations on my stuff, and value your ideas, friendship and support highly because your stuff is always top notch! Have a great week, Phil! Bob

Ahhh, signature Bob Oister perfection. Great number, performance, and mix. I really liked the video, it matched the lyrics and music perfectly. Who is it that you use to put together the videos or is it you that does that work? My son recently graduated from the Digital Animation and Visual Effects school in Orlando and is currently working there. I have received quite an education from him on these subjects but I still don't understand how they do it. I think that this is one of my favourites of your songs. Excellent stuff my friend!

Freddy J: Hey, Freddy, how are you, buddy? Hope you're doing great! Thank you very much for having a look at the video and for your highly encouraging comments! Yep, Freddy, I do all the videography, video editing and video production myself. This was only my third video attempt from three years ago, but I was learning as much as I could about video production and CGI during the last four years, at the same time while I was here learning about recording, mixing and music production. Your son's got a bright future ahead of him because that's a very highly in demand field these days, and it's only going to keep growing. I'm sure he's very creative and loves what he's doing, just like his Dad! Thanks again, Freddy, I appreciate your input, friendship and support here on the forum, and have a great night, buddy! Bob

To say that I am impressed by what you have been able to accomplish, by learning on your own, would be an understatement. Brilliant work Bob --- both visually and musically!

LOL, I know there's nothing like 20 degree air temperatures when you're doing 60mph on a Harley! Thanks again, Scott, and have a great weekend! Bob

Noisy Neighbour: Hi, Daniel, It's really great to see you back on the forum, brother! Thank you so much for taking time to check out the video and for your very kind comments! You made my day with your comment about having a recognizable style! After many years of playing and singing in my hard rock and metal cover bands, trying to emulate the sounds of other bands as closely as possible, I fought hard to try to create my own recognizable signature sound for my own original work, so your comment means a lot to me. Also, because the quality of your stuff is always fantastic! Thanks again, Daniel, greatly appreciated, and have a Rockin' weekend! Bob

While I was here on the forum learning how to improve my recording, mixing and audio production skills, at the same time I was also trying to learn as much as I could about video production, video editing and CGI, so I would have another creative way to try to get my music on front of more people and also define the song concepts a bit more.
